Chantelle Hamilton, a 33-year-old single mother with two young sons, claimed using the chatbot has allowed her to save five hours a week that she would have spent poring over recipes and planning meals. To use the service, Hamilton inputs her weekly budget and dietary restrictions before ChatGPT generates a meal plan and corresponding shopping list, helping her to shop more efficiently and waste less food. Hamilton estimates she has saved $150 a week on groceries as a result. According to Finder, more than 30% of Generation Z Australians use ChatGPT daily, while 17% of Generation Y use it.
