Greg Isenberg, the CEO of Late Checkout and advisor at Reddit, has revealed that he used an AI chatbot, ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI to collect long-overdue bills from a multi-billion dollar client. ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer), is a tool used to create AI art, write papers and even create content for Buzzfeed. Isenberg, who owed over $100k in payments was ghosted by his design firm client. Instead of paying legal fees, Isenberg decided to see if ChatGPT could generate a letter that would be intimidating enough to prompt the clients to send over the money they owed. It worked.
