Singapore, 22 March 2023 – For Built Environment professionals, BuildTech Asia 2023 is the premier platform to witness the future of the built environment industry with digitalisation, smart building and construction and sustainability at the forefront. Organised by Constellar, BTA 2023 will feature onsite exhibitors from 15 countries and regions across the Asia Pacific, with homegrown Singapore-based companies also joining the event. Senior Minister of State for Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of National Development Mr Tan Kiat How will officiate the opening of BTA 2023 with an address and the launch of Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Specialists Trade Alliance of Singapore (STAS)’s Shared Services Registry which will enable stakeholders, specially SMEs, to procure services in their digitalisation journey.
At BTA 2023, participants can experience firsthand the use of emerging technologies and solutions in the Smart Construction Experience Zone and Robotics & Automation Experience Zone. Well-renowned and industry-leading companies such as Knauf Plasterboard Ptd Ltd, Liugong Machinery Co, Ltd, Pee Huan Pte Ltd, Sany South East Asia Pte Ltd and SquareDog Robotics Limited will showcase the latest equipment and solutions to explore solutions for their built environment space.
The event will also offer an inaugural Built Environment Transformation Forum which will cover topics including Post-pandemic Collaboration Opportunities, Trends & Policies for the Built Environment Sector and other industry developments, technology advancements, and best practices. The event will be joined by eminent industry speakers from the Building and Construction Authority, Asia Pacific Assistive Robotics Association, World of Safety and Health Asia, Singapore Contractors Association Limited, Association of Women in Construction, and Singapore International Facility Management Association.
In addition, BTA 2023 will be the first event at Singapore EXPO to pilot the sustainability measurements proof-of-concept under Singapore’s MICE Sustainability Roadmap with SACEOS to measure event waste and carbon footprints. In order to achieve Net Zero by 2050, BTA and Singapore EXPO will be assessing waste drivers and boundaries, and generating insights to drive sustainable decisions.
