Buildier.ai Raises $250 Million in Series D Funding for Modular App-Building Platform

Date:

Buildier.ai, a modular app building platform, recently secured $250 million in a Series D funding round led by the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA). Other investors in the round include Iconiq Capital, Jungle Ventures, and Insight Partners. This brings the total amount of funding for the company to over $450 million and shows a 2.3X growth in revenue.

With these funds, Buildier.ai plans to use human conversations to constantly build and improve the apps on its platform. This stands in contrast to the traditional white canvas app building system which was advised by experts. The startup currently operates out of the United Kingdom, United States, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and France.

Sachin Dev Duggal, CEO and Founder of Buildier.ai, spoke about their new funding and the changing landscape of building software: “We are entering an incredible time in history where the very notion of software is changing; from something that had a shelf life of years to what will eventually have a shelf life of a conversation and the volume of what is being created is only going to grow exponentially.”

The successful series D funding round comes on the heels of a recent strategic collaboration with Microsoft. Builder’s AI, “Natasha”, is soon to be made available to Teams users.
