At last Saturday’s annual meeting of his company, Berkshire Hathaway, the world’s sixth richest man said these skills are both concerning and hard to un-invent. Warren Buffet is a billionaire investor, philanthropist and business tycoon, who has been on the Forbes list of wealthiest people since 2008. Throughout his career, he has been an advocate of ethical business practices and it is no surprise that he is wary of the rapid development of AI. It is reassuring to know that someone like Buffet is warning us of potential dangers, keeping everyone’s best interests at heart.
