Bharti Global, the investment arm of Bharti Enterprises, has recently acquired a significant stake in BT Group from Altice UK. This strategic move aims to enhance synergies between India and the UK in advanced technologies like AI and 5G.
The acquisition involves Bharti Global acquiring 24.5% of BT Group through its subsidiary, Bharti Televentures UK. The deal, valued at around $4 billion, signifies a major step towards strengthening the telecom sector’s ties between the two countries.
