Bahraini Tech Companies Showcase Innovations at Gitex Global & Expand North Star Exhibitions
Bahraini technology companies have taken center stage at the prestigious Gitex Global and Expand North Star exhibitions, highlighting their cutting-edge innovations and expanding their global reach. More than 32 micro, small, and medium-sized Bahraini tech companies, along with key partners including the Economic Development Board, Export Bahrain, and ila Bank, participated in these exhibitions.
Supported by Tamkeen, a semi-autonomous government agency, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pavilion at Gitex Global featured 12 SMEs showcasing their work. Gitex Global, known as the largest technology exhibition in the world, attracted a massive audience from October 16th to 20th.
Meanwhile, at the Expand North Star exhibition, held from October 15th to 18th as part of the ‘Gitex Technology Week’ events hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, 20 emerging Bahraini startups made their mark. This exhibition, distinct from Gitex Global and held at a separate venue for the first time, aimed to welcome more global tech entrepreneurs.
With over 100,000 expected attendees and visitors from around the globe, this year’s exhibitions provided tech entrepreneurs with an unrivaled platform to display their products and services. The audience consisted of high-level executives, government officials, industry experts, entrepreneurs, academics, and technology enthusiasts, fostering opportunities for regional and international partnerships, market expansion, and interactions with leading experts and global tech company representatives.
