Backpacking through Europe on a Budget – My 2 Week Trip for Under £800

Date:

Travelling on a budget is becoming increasingly popular as people look for new and creative ways to explore the world at a price they can afford. Madison Rolley, a 24-year-old digital nomad coach from Tennessee in the US, recently used ChatGPT to plan an amazing two-week backpacking trip across Europe for under £800 per person.

Madison she used ChatGPT to create her travel plan. She asked ChatGPT to come up with a plan for a two-week trip for under $1000 per person travelling between four different cities. The AI was able to fulfil her request and generate an itinerary which included transportation and accommodation, three activities in each location and food, all within budget.

ChatGPT created a plan suggesting Stockholm, Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona and Copenhagen, although Madison was able to adjust it slightly – she opted to visit Stockholm, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam instead. The plan provided plenty of ideas for activities, including visits to the Anne Frank Museum, the Van Gogh Museum and canal cruise in Amsterdam, as well as the Lourve and Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Using the artificial intelligence, what would usually have taken days to plan, was created in minutes. Madison mentioned that it was great to be able to tweak the itinerary, as well as getting inspiration from it. She also noted the AI’s ability to adjust the plan to her budget, helping her to stay within her spending limits.

ChatGPT is a popular artificial intelligence tool which is being used for an array of activities, from creating art to answering questions and even writing content for websites. The software is great for travel plans and budget preparation, giving users the ability to input budget and customise their itineraries. The AI also provides travel tips and recommendations, such as finding budget flights and special hotel deals, allowing people to get the most out of their money-saving experiences.

Madison has encouraged other budget travellers to give the AI technology a try and said: “It’s giving a general guide – it’s giving you that inspiration. You can get a little bit of an understanding of what the price is going to look like from country to country or that flight is going to look like. Then you can go from there and actually book things and do your research and build out your budget.”

ChatGPT is a fantastic tool that allows people to save money on their travels and explore the world without breaking the bank. Whether planning an epic backpacking trip around Europe, or simply a short city break, the AI can provide tips and inspiration, as well as allowing users to keep their spending within budget.

Madison and her travel buddy will be setting off on their two-week journey on July 3. It is sure to be a great experience, with plenty of budget flights and hotel deals to help them make the most of their journey.
