Azerbaijan faced cyber attacks during the 2020 Karabakh war, according to Turkish ambassador Egemen Bagis.
Speaking at the XI Global Baku Forum, Bagis emphasized the need for responsible use of artificial intelligence. He highlighted Turkey’s approach to advanced drone technology, stating that they are used in a humane manner to avoid the potential consequences of leaving decisions solely to artificial intelligence.
The forum, attended by representatives from over 70 countries, focuses on global discussions surrounding security, peace, and new world order challenges. Topics include climate, food, and nuclear security, as well as the role of military alliances in global governance.
Discussions at the forum will also address issues such as artificial intelligence, new security paradigms in the era of drones and cyber weapons, and ways to build resilience against global challenges like inequality, natural resource scarcity, and migration.
