YouTube Tech YouTuber Matt Wolfe has created a mind-blowing short film using OpenAI’s chatGPT and many other AI tools. The film is a perfect mashup between science fiction and AI and shows just how much is possible with AI-powered platforms. Through 8 different AI platforms and the editing process, Wolfe has managed to create a unique and creative short film that has caught the attention of many.
The process began with a prompt in chatGPT for a 60-90 seconds movie about an AI robot that saves civilization and produced instructive shot descriptions. To create the videos, Wolfe decided to use Runway, though it was still in a closed-beta version. Because of some shots that Runway couldn’t produce, Wolfe resorted to Midjourney to generate an image for the same prompt. Following that, Genmo was used to create a time-lapse shot, after which LeiaPix and Kaiber helped to make the still images look more realistic and dramatic. For the voiceover, Eleven Labs was used and Mubert’s AI was chosen to create good background music. Editing was done using Davinci Resolve, and the result has been viewed by over 52,000 people.
