Army Invests $50M in AI Solutions from Small Businesses

The U.S. Army has recently announced an impressive investment of $50 million in various small and nontraditional businesses to develop cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. This initiative falls under the AI/ML open-topic solicitation, aiming to boost the Army’s operational capabilities and address crucial information gaps for national security.

Starting in December 2022, the U.S. Army Small Business Innovation Research Program opened its solicitation to leverage AI technologies in areas such as radio-frequency identification and language translation.
