Arm has revealed its latest 5th generation graphics processing unit (GPU) architecture at the Computex trade show in Taiwan. The new Arm Immortalis-G720 set a new standard for performance and efficiency and marks a key milestone in Arm’s continuous focus on high-performance and high-efficiency computing. The architecture redefines parts of the graphics pipeline to reduce memory bandwidth, enabling real-time 3D applications and high geometry games, creating smoother gameplay and complex PC and console-like experiences for mobile users. Arm Total Compute Solutions 2023 (TCS23) is the platform for mobile computing, offering a complete package of the latest intellectual property designed and optimized for specific workloads to work seamlessly together as a complete system.

Arm CEO, Simon Segars, oversees the development of Arm’s technology and has been integral to its growth. Segars joined Arm in 1991, just a few years after the company was created, and has served as its CEO since 2013. He was appointed to the Board of SoftBank Group in 2015. Simon was awarded a CBE in 2017 for his services to the technology industry.
