Arm Introduces Cortex-X4, the First CPU Based on TSMC’s N3E Process

Arm, a British chip design company, has announced its new Total Compute Solutions 2023 (TCS23) platform. This cutting-edge technology is designed specifically for flagship mobile devices and laptops, boasting a massive increase of 15% in performance and 40% less power consumption. The new platform includes the Cortex-X4 CPU – the first CPU to be built on TSMC’s N3E process.

The Cortex-X4 guarantees immersive visuals and advanced AI applications, all while keeping an all-day charge for longer usage. The properties of the Cortex-X4 already have the attention of major chipmaker MediaTek who will be implementing TCS23 in their product Dimensity 9200.
