OnlyFans and Twitch star Kaitlyn Siragusa, known as “Amouranth”, has launched an AI-powered voice chatbot called “AI Amo” that allows her fans to communicate directly with her. Fans can chat with AI Amo by downloading a special Telegram link which prompts the sign-up message “Date AI versions of your favorite influencers using immersive 2-way voice. By using this platform, you agree that you are aged 18+. Type /Amouranth or /Caryn to get started.”
Once they enter the chat, fans must “deposit credits” to unlock the feature, and chatting with AI Amo costs $1 per minute. After paying, fans can send voice messages in the chat and receive instant responses in what sounds like Amouranth’s voice. The feature is a two-way chat between artificial Siragusa and her paying fans, allowing them to question her and even engage in sexually explicit conversations.
Amouranth’s AI-generated voice was developed by the tech startup and AI platform Forever Voices. It was created by analyzing her livestreams, YouTube videos, and other recordings, offering an lifelike and authentic experience.
Siragusa capitalizes on fan interactions as a major income driver, as well as adult content, making over$27 million on OnlyFans in 2022. On the platform, creators earn income by paywalling content and charging fans for messages.
Similarly, Snapchat influencer Caryn Marjorie created a virtual “AI Girlfriend” utilizing the Forever Voice tool. She commented to Fortune that she believes it could eventually bring in $5 million a month, based on 20,000 of her 1.8 million Snapchat followers signing up for the service. However, Marjorie said that her bot “seemed to go rogue” and started engaging in “sexually explicit” interactions, leading to some issues. Since AI Amo is meant to engage in explicit chats, precautions have been taken to avoid similar problems.
