Türkiye’s digital transformation is set to receive a significant boost with the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) cloud technology, according to Huawei Cloud’s chief technology officer, Zhang Bruno. The localized global cloud provider in the country is aligning its services with the national digital transformation strategy, paving the way for technological advancements.
Highlighting the importance of establishing a robust AI ecosystem, Zhang emphasized the need for collaboration between the public sector, R&D centers, universities, and developers to drive innovation forward. In Türkiye, both government agencies and businesses are keenly aware of the value that AI technology brings, with various initiatives in place to promote its adoption.
While AI’s cloud transformation globally is still in its early stages, the benefits it offers are immense. For instance, companies can leverage AI to overcome language barriers in their products, enabling them to cater to a broader international audience. Huawei’s research and development center in Türkiye is actively contributing to this growth, with a team of over 200 Turkish engineers specializing in cloud development and more than 100 local service engineers.
Zhang expressed Huawei’s commitment to delivering value to its customers in Türkiye and beyond, underscoring the potential of AI technology to drive digital transformation in the country. With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, Türkiye is poised to harness the power of AI cloud technology for a more connected and technologically advanced future.
