On Wednesday, applied machine learning expert Aamer Charania will host an online meeting with Dr. Harvey Castro, MD. This virtual event is part of Dallas AI, the biggest nonprofit AI forum in North Texas. Titled “ChatGPT in Medicine”, the two participants will discuss the implications of using Large Language Models in the medical field. Although some may view it as illustrative, Charania insists it can be either exciting or frightening.
Dr. Castro is a medical practitioner, healthcare consultant, and serial entrepreneur. He completed medical school and subsequently wrote books to cover his expenses. Following that, he began creating over 30 iPhone and Android apps related to healthcare. As a speaker for the American College of Emergency Physicians, he shared his experiences with American audiences. To this day, he is still a strong force in the industry, generating innovation in the healthcare sector to foster positive changes.
