Though the series is heavily focused on the man versus machine argument, there is a lack of thrills and excitement in the four episodes that have been released for review. It does, however, boast talented actors in Brian Tyree Henry and Kate Mara, and the show excels in its focus on the characters and how their actions reflect human morality.
The FX series provides a speculative glimpse into what criminal justice might become in the future, and the care taken to develop each of the characters is highly appreciated. The story’s thematic exploration of the line between artificial and human justice keeps audiences on the edge of their seats.
