Advantech and Altizon: Accelerating Industry 4.0 Transformation for a Greener, Smarter Digital Factory

Advantech and Altizon, two leading providers of industrial Internet of Things (IoT) hardware and automation technology, have recently announced the launch of their joint solution designed for ease of transformation to a smart factory. This solution bundle includes pre-validated and pre-installed Advantech edge hardware and Altizon’s Datonis Digital Factory platform, ensuring a quick and effortless modernizing of factory operations.

The features of the solution bundle include secure data exchange in real time, edge device management from the cloud, an out-of-the box suite of applications (production, maintenance, quality, energy and sustainability) with quick configuration, and standard set of reports and dashboards to automate the business value realization. Altizon CEO, Vinay Nathan, remarks, “Altizon is excited to partner with Advantech for accelerating the growth of our Digital Factory applications and solutions. By offering out-of-the-box connectivity to Altizon’s Digital Factory suite with Advantech’s IIoT hardware, it will benefit customers with a one-stop solution that is easy to deploy and yields rapid ROI.”

The hardware that is part of the package includes Intel-based Edge IoT Gateway (UNO-2271G-V2), Linux Intelligent I/O Gateway (ADAM-6717), and WISE-S100 Stack Light Monitoring Sensor. According to Carolyn Swan, director of partnerships, Advantech North America IIoT Group, this solution delivers great value to systems integrators and end-user customers as it provides a solution that simplifies digital transformation as well as provides great returns on investments.

Advantech was founded in 1983 and is a global leader in the IoT intelligent systems and embedded platforms field. Altizon is a global Industrial IoT company and was founded in 2013. By leveraging machine data, it helps enterprises to drive better business decisions and data analytics. With the launch of Advantech and Altizon partnership solution bundle, factories can expect to gain greater productivity, real-time edge intelligence, minimized operational costs and most importantly rapid time to market.
