The $75,000 machine can either be remotely controlled or operated autonomously and programmatically. It does not have an actual independent mind and therefore cannot cause harm on its own.
OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which was launched two years later in 2022, is the exact opposite of Spot. This chatbot AI is designed to give written responses to questions asked. It comes in the news often due to its capability to engage in conversations with humans.

Through their efforts, a brain for the Spot robot was developed by uploading the ChatGPT AI. Then, a Google speech-to-text component was implemented so that Spot possesses the capability to vocally answer inquiries about past or current missions.
To demonstrate Spot’s communication capabilities, Levatas released a video of the Robot this week, with plans to release even more features in the near future.
