Date:

1-800-Flowers.com is bringing a special way to celebrate Mother’s Day this year with its new AI feature “1-800-Flowers.com MomVerse”. The new online feature utilizes the latest in ChatGPT technology to create original one-of-a-kind verses, song and poems personalized for any recipient. Customers can input attributes such as music, singing and reading to generate a memorable message and share it easily with one click to a social platform or print it out.

On April 27, 1-800-Flowers.com will host the “Mother’s Day Live Shopping: Celebrating Women Who…are Amazing Moms” livestream event. The event will feature four moms from different walks of life sharing a curated selection from 1-800-Flowers.com, Harry & David, Cheryl’s Cookies and Personalization Mall.

The specialty gifting retailer has recently been focusing on digital transformations to better cater to its customers. It has rolled out a loyalty app, digital payment options like Apple Pay, PayPal, Click to Pay, and Venmo, and partnered with the astrology app Sanctuary and TikTok creator and influencer Eros Miranda. It also acquired the floral livestream platform, Alice’s Table, in January 2022.

Jason John, Chief Marketing Officer at 1-800-Flowers Inc, said: “We continually innovate our customer engagement efforts to elevate the gifting experience. The 1-800-Flowers.com MomVerse is one more way we leverage emerging technologies to ensure customers can engage with us in different ways, enabling them to celebrate the relationships in their lives through their gift-giving gestures.”

1-800-Flowers.com is an American-based retailer of gifts, specialty products, and more founded by CEO Jim McCann in 1976. The company strives to provide customers with quality products and services to help them connect with the significant people in their lives. With the latest initiative, 1-800-Flowers is once again demonstrating their commitment to bridging the customer-brand gap.
