Unleash your Playlist Potential with the ChatGPT-Powered iPhone Assistant

Date:

The latest app Petey 2.1 offers Apple Music users a step up in the virtual assistant world. Powered by ChatGPT, the AI helper is much more flexible than the traditional Siri assistant that comes preloaded on iPhones and Apple Watches. It has the capacity to help with many tasks, albeit with some minor limitations.

To take advantage of its capabilities users need to connect Petey to their Apple Music account. Doing so will allow Petey to create playlists and add songs to the library to help build the next virtual mixtape. While this feature works well for older releases, the ChatGPT data stops around the end of 2021 so creating a playlist of the latest tracks might not be possible.

Petey 2.1 also offers an update to GPT-4, the most current version of OpenAI’s GPT large language model framework. This new support is said to provide more accurate results as well as faster completion times. However, the changes come with a cost, as users will be required to make an in-app purchase or use their own GPT API key in order to get full access to the new functions.

Overall, Petey’s AI assistant offers a great upgrade to Siri in terms of capability. Its wide range of features makes it worthwhile despite some of its limitations, although users should take all results with a pinch of salt.

The company behind Petey, Petey LLC, is a technology firm that is dedicated to making AI assistants and virtual reality products. Their main mission is to bridge the gap between humans and technology, creating a better and more seamless user experience. They place significant attention to detail on all of their products, wanting users to get more than what they’re expecting when using their products.
