Supreme Judiciary Council Launches Virtual Employee Service via WhatsApp

Date:

The Supreme Judiciary Council in Doha has recently introduced a new service through WhatsApp to assist litigants in navigating the legal system more efficiently. This innovative approach, known as the Virtual Employee service, aims to streamline the process of submitting memoranda electronically, utilizing cutting-edge robotic technology and artificial intelligence.

The Virtual Employee service allows litigants to file memoranda electronically at any time, with the Virtual Employee taking care of the registration and filing process. This service has already been trialed in the Civil Court, the Court of Appeal and Cassation, and the Family Court, with positive feedback from participating litigants.

In addition to the Virtual Employee service, the Supreme Judiciary Council is actively exploring the use of artificial intelligence in other digital services to enhance the overall efficiency of the judicial system. These advancements include the Court Mzadat application, which simplifies auction-related procedures, and the development of AI services to support judicial staff in preparing legal summaries and comparisons with judicial precedents.

By leveraging artificial intelligence and digital technologies, the Supreme Judiciary Council is committed to improving decision-making processes, enhancing the quality of judicial work, and ultimately achieving prompt justice for all parties involved. These efforts reflect the council’s dedication to embracing digital innovation and improving the overall effectiveness of the judicial system in Qatar.
