The article was written and edited by Som Biswas, MD, a Radiology fellow. According to Dr. Biswas, the goal of writing this article was to demonstrate the practical applications and potential of AI-based generative writing, while raising the caveat of it having both its advantages and disadvantages, such as plagiarism, lack of creativity and innovation and potential for errors or bias. However, he also pointed out certain advantages of AI technology, such as the speed in which it can be used to write articles or meeting summaries, extract information from electronic health records and literature search.
