Despite the many apprehensions that AI-driven chatbots such as ChatGPT could take over human jobs, Murthy continues to believe in the power of the human mind. Ranked 3rd in the ranks of CNBC’s 25 Global Business Leaders, Murthy believes that it is only human creativity that can differentiate one person from another. He believes that if two people were to compete while using ChatGPT as their base, the one with smarter ideas and clever tricks is bound to surpass the other.
ChatGPT was first released on November 2022 by OpenAI, an American artificial intelligence research lab. Since then, it has revolutionized the internet, giving tech giants like Google and Alibaba an incentive to launch their own versions of AI-driven chatbots. With OpenAI recently introducing version 4 of ChatGPT with its stack of advanced features, the possibilities of AI have grown even further.
As for Murthy, he will continue to utilize ChatGPT and its AI-driven technology as his assistant, but he maintains that the human mind is the most powerful imagination machine – an idea that nobody can defy.
Infosys is a global corporation which, under Murthy’s tutelage, provides to clients business consulting, technology, engineering, and outsourcing services.
