Over 10 Lakh Content Creators in India to Earn around Rs 40,000 Each Month Within Three Years – Good News for Indian Digital Creators Says Report

It is good news for digital content creators in India, as a report reveals that over 10 lakh Indian creators on social media are projected to earn more than $500 each month, equivalent to around Rs 41,000, in the next three years. This shows an annualised growth rate of 115 per cent for individual creators in India, compared to the global average of 18 per cent. These figures are released by the creator economy startup Animeta on the occasion of International Creators Day.

Currently, across India, more than 3,500 brands interact with over 5,000 creator partners to promote their products through digital content. A total of 20,000 branded content pieces have already gained more than 500 million engagements. It is estimated that in three years, 10 lakh content creators in India will be able to sustain a steady digital income, generating 100,000 subscribers/followers at an annualised rate of 37 per cent.

Animeta focuses in providing guidance and opportunities to digital creators to expand their networks and maximise their earnings. It helps them explore multiple social media platforms as well as build customised solutions to assist themselves with monetising their content. It is being noted that the sponsored content space is getting more organised, with performances being judged on the basis of marketing metrics and the business and marketing rules being rewritten overnight.
