AMD Unveils Ryzen AI 300 and Ryzen 9000 Series CPUs at Computex

AMD recently announced its latest lineup of processors at Computex 2024, unveiling the Ryzen 9000 and Ryzen AI 300 series chipsets designed to cater to the increasing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. These new CPUs are built on AMD’s cutting-edge Zen 5 architecture and come equipped with integrated GPUs and Neural Processing Units (NPUs) to enhance performance.

The Ryzen AI 300 series includes the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and the Ryzen AI 9 365 processors, both powered by high-performance Zen 5 cores and XDNA2 architecture for the NPU. The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 boasts 12 cores, 24 threads, and a max clock speed of 5.1GHz, while the Ryzen AI 9 365 features 10 cores, 12 threads, and a max clock speed of 5.0GHz. These chipsets are capable of delivering up to 50 Tera operations per second (TOPS), making them ideal for AI applications.

On the other hand, the Ryzen 9000 series is targeted towards gamers and creators, with chipsets like the Ryzen 9 9950X, Ryzen 9 9900X, Ryzen 7 9700X, and Ryzen 5 9600X. The flagship Ryzen 9 9950X offers 16 cores, 32 threads, and impressive clock speeds for a smooth gaming experience.

AMD claims that the Ryzen 9000 series processors can deliver improved performance in gaming, rendering, and other resource-intensive tasks. These chipsets are set to launch in July and will be featured in upcoming PCs from brands like Asus and HP.
