Alibaba Cloud Launches ACA Generative AI Course Globally, Partners with NU Philippines

Alibaba Cloud has recently launched its Alibaba Cloud Certified Associate (ACA) Generative AI Engineer Course worldwide, including in the Philippines, to upskill global digital talent. The course, developed by Alibaba Cloud Academy, focuses on foundational knowledge in Generative AI technologies, covering essential topics such as machine learning, natural language processing, and generative adversarial networks.

Through a three-step approach of learning, imagining, and applying, participants can gain the necessary skills to deploy Generative AI applications on Alibaba Cloud platforms. Upon completion of the course and passing the exam, learners will receive an ACA certificate. The goal is to equip 10,000 to 20,000 individuals with basic AI knowledge by the end of 2024.

Alibaba Cloud’s commitment to nurturing digital talent has resulted in over 60,000 individuals receiving training certificates since April 2023. The company offers a wide range of online and offline certification courses through Alibaba Cloud Academy, in collaboration with over 300 partners worldwide.

Additionally, Alibaba Cloud has partnered with the National University Philippines to enhance digital skills among students and faculty members. Through this collaboration, students have access to training sessions on topics like GenAI, cloud computing, and security, aiming to boost their technological expertise. Moreover, faculty members have participated in a comprehensive training program to further enhance their knowledge.

Alibaba Cloud’s efforts to empower tech education extend beyond the Philippines, with partnerships established with over 80 universities in 16 countries and regions. These collaborations aim to equip future talents with cloud computing learning resources and AI expertise to meet the demands of the digital era.
