Rumors suggest that the update will be showcased at the WWDC conference in June, alongside updates for other operating systems like iPadOS 18, watchOS 11, visionOS 2, and the latest macOS version. Developer betas are likely to be released in June, with the public launch scheduled for fall, coinciding with the expected release of the new iPhone 16 lineup in September.
In addition to the new home screen customization features, iOS 18 is expected to introduce advanced generative AI capabilities for Siri and various apps, RCS support in the Messages app for improved messaging between iOS and Android devices, design enhancements, and more.
