NTT Global Data Centers Begins Construction of Bangkok 3 Data Center to Cater to Hyperscaler and Enterprise Needs

NTT Global Data Centers has broken ground on a new state-of-the-art data center in Bangkok, Thailand. The Bangkok 3 Data Center is designed to meet tier 3 standards and will have a capacity of 12 MW. Commercial operations are expected to start in the second half of 2025, with a focus on catering to the needs of both Hyperscalers and Enterprises.

Our Bangkok 3 Data Center will be a cutting-edge facility with 12MW of IT capacity, designed to meet the growing demands of Big Tech and AI capabilities, NTT Global Data Centers stated on LinkedIn.

The facility, originally announced in March 2023, is being developed with an investment of USD 90 million from NTT Global Data Centers. Located adjacent to the Bangkok 2 Data Center in the Amata City Chonburi industrial estate, the 4,000 sqm facility will be strategically positioned to serve the growing tech needs in the region.

With the construction underway, NTT is gearing up to offer a top-tier data center in Bangkok, setting the stage for enhanced digital infrastructure and advanced technological capabilities in the region.
