The organization’s impact spans across various sectors, from disaster relief to financial inclusion initiatives targeting underserved communities. Nadra’s innovative applications of biometric technology have earned it international acclaim, with numerous awards for excellence under its belt. Today, Nadra proudly serves as the third-largest demographic segment globally.
As part of the celebration, Nadra showcased its key achievements in 2023, including processing nearly 30 million identity documents, with a significant milestone of 50% female registration. The organization played a crucial role in important national projects such as the Digital Census 2023 and issuing succession certificates and computerized arms licenses.
Internationally, Nadra expanded its footprint through collaborations with countries like Nigeria, Somalia, and Kenya on identification initiatives, aligning with global best practices. Looking ahead to 2024, Nadra plans to introduce a multiplatform citizen registration regime, revolutionizing the identity documentation process.
