Samsung Semiconductor India Research has launched the ‘Samsung Innovation Campus’ program at Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) in Karnataka. The initiative aims to train 1,100 undergraduate engineering students in cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) to prepare them for future job opportunities.
The collaboration between SSIR and VTU is geared towards equipping students with the necessary skills to thrive in the technology industry. Through the program, students will not only enhance their technical capabilities but also be guided through the ideation process, problem-solving methodologies, and mentored by experts to develop innovative solutions.
Dr. BE. Rangaswamy, Registrar of VTU, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SSIR, emphasizing the importance of empowering young minds and fostering innovative thinking. The partnership aims to create an innovation center that nurtures the potential of aspiring engineers and instills an entrepreneurial mindset in them.
