All You Need to Know About Apple’s Next iMac Pro

Date:

Rumor has it that Apple is preparing to release a new version of the iMac – the “iMac Pro” – in 2023 or 2024. This new iMac is set to bring back the larger-screen of the 27-inch iMac, which was discontinued back in 2022. Expectedly, the new iMac Pro will have black bezels and will possibly have thinner bezels than the 24-inch iMac. There is also speculation that the new 27-inch “iMac Pro” will come with various color options like the 2021 MacBook Pro. The iMac Pro might also come with a mini-LED display to offer brighter colors, deeper blacks, and improved HDR, and ProMotion display technology for up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

Furthermore, this refreshed 27-inch iMac Pro is speculated to have similar port configuration to the 2021 MacBook Pro, including USB-C/Thunderbolt ports, an SD card slot, and an HDMI port, possibly with an Ethernet port built into the power adapter like the 24-inch iMac. The processor rumors suggest that the new iMac Pro could use M3 Pro and M3 Max chips by late 2023. Lastly, the iMac Pro is said to support Face ID recognition, however it is not a guarantee to make it onto the final product.
