Graphic design tool startup Canva Pty. Ltd. is taking its AI capabilities a step further with the introduction of a suite of brand management features and AI design tools. The company hopes to help teams and organizations of all sizes to communicate visually and create content that is on-brand and of the highest quality.

Founded in 2012, Canva has achieved impressive growth since its launch in September 2022 and now boasts a monthly user base of 120 million. Over 15 billion designs have also been created with its popular Visual Worksuite tool. Current customers include well-known corporations such as FedEx Corp., Starbucks Corp. and Zoom Video Communications Inc.

The new tools being introduced by Canva offer plenty of features designed to help teams work quickly and create content that truly represents their brand. Brand Kit, for instance, allows users to upload logos, colors, fonts, icons, imagery and more to have a consistent look for their designs. Magic Replace allows for updating brand assets throughout a company with a single click. Brand Folders, Brand Templates, and Brand Guidelines also offer users a range of tools to ensure that their designs are uniform and on-brand.

The Visual Worksuite is also now powered by AI and offers a number of features to quickly create designs that look professional. Magic Design, for example, enables users to upload an image and select a style, after which the AI automatically curates personalized templates. Magic Edit allows users to add or replace anything in an image, while Magic Eraser cleans up unwanted details.

Magic Write and Beat Sync will help users create engaging content quickly. Magic Write will generate content from a prompt and Beat Sync automatically matches video footage to the soundtrack. AI translation supports more than 100 languages, so brands can now easily create content for a truly global audience.
