Kingsoft to Launch AI Writing Assistant for Word Processing Software

Chinese tech company Kingsoft’s word processing software WPS announced on Monday that soon it will be launching an Artificial Intelligence-powered tool referred to as WPS AI. The AI writing assistant will be able to generate emails, articles, and advertising slogans relating to user input and multi-lingual translations. Furthermore, the WPS AI is powered by the Chinese AI startup MiniMax, which will provide three base models, including Text-to-Text, Text-to-Visual, and Text-to-Audio. and the WPS AI is expected to be available to the public within weeks.

Kingsoft, which owns WPS, is a well-known name in the Chinese tech industry. The company has various subdivisions in various products and software development. Kingsoft CEO Zhang Qingyuan has ensured that WPS AI will provide improved services to the users compared to its existing products.
