Cognizant, an IT services and consulting company, has partnered with Microsoft to introduce an innovative AI tool called the Innovation Assistant. This tool, powered by Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, aims to enhance creativity and innovation within Cognizant’s internal innovation program, Bluebolt.
The Innovation Assistant will gather enterprise knowledge and enable teams of Cognizant employees to tackle client challenges across various industries. Bluebolt, an initiative that promotes collaboration and innovation among employees, will be augmented by this AI-powered tool.
Ravi Kumar S, CEO of Cognizant, expressed his excitement about this collaboration with Microsoft, stating that they are leveraging generative AI to revolutionize their approach to innovation. He emphasized the importance of staying ahead in the rapidly evolving business environment.
Earlier last year, Cognizant partnered with Google Cloud to establish AI Innovation hubs in Bangalore, London, and San Francisco. The company also plans to offer a program to train its employees and clients on AI technology.
Puneet Chandok, President of Microsoft India & South Asia, praised Cognizant’s use of AI to unlock the potential of individuals and teams. He highlighted that their platform, built on Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, provides customers with access to valuable insights from enterprise data, enabling them to stay ahead in the digital landscape.
In August 2020, Cognizant announced its $1 billion investment in generative artificial intelligence over three years, covering a wide range of areas such as platforms, personnel, partnerships, IT, and mergers and acquisitions.
