Cronos Labs, a blockchain startup accelerator, is seeking web3 and AI startups to apply for its $100 million Cronos Accelerator Program. The program aims to support early-stage crypto projects by providing them with the necessary resources for success. With over 1,000 startups already applying and sharing their innovative concepts, Cronos Labs is nearing the end of its application window.
The Cronos Accelerator Program focuses on nurturing teams operating at the intersection of cryptocurrency and AI. As the convergence of these trends continues to foster a wave of projects, Cronos Labs aims to help these startups harness technology to create novel applications and engineer new outcomes.
Accepted projects will have the opportunity to collaborate with program partners such as Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS). These partnerships will offer workshops, mentorship sessions, and guidance on AI-related topics. In addition, participating startups will receive mentorship, master classes, marketing and financial support, and introductions to strategic partners during the 12-week program.
Cronos Labs is specifically looking for innovative proposals that address real-world problems while showcasing ingenious applications of AI, blockchain, and decentralized technology. By doing so, these ideas will not only drive advancements in AI and web3 but also contribute to the growth of Cronos’ ecosystem of more than 500 decentralized applications (dapps).
The Cronos Accelerator Program culminates in a demo day where startups can showcase their work and engage in funding discussions. Developers on Cronos will also have access to support from Cronos Labs’ accelerator and ecosystem development fund. Exceptional projects admitted to the accelerator will even have the opportunity to tap into the $100 million EVM fund.
Previous graduates of the Cronos Accelerator Program have achieved significant success, with some seeing their concepts developed into fully-fledged products and securing additional funding. For instance, Earn Network raised $2.7 million to build a marketplace for liquid investments, while Bubblemaps recently closed a $3 million seed funding round.
As the application window is set to close soon, Cronos Labs will evaluate the pool of entries received and select the most promising applicants for the Cronos Accelerator Program’s third cohort. The program is scheduled to commence in January 2024.
