Metzger, who has been publishing travel guides since the 1980s, believes that dining locally is an integral part of experiencing a country’s culture. As a media partner of the World Tourism Organization, the Travelindex Group focuses on promoting the tourism sector through its content-driven ecosystem. Metzger’s company also publishes a yearly list of the top 25 restaurants based on its own Restaurant Rating Index. With a team of culinary experts, including Michelin star chefs and executive chefs from leading hotels, the Travelindex Group recognizes the global influence of Chinese cuisine, which is widely available in restaurants worldwide. Starting off in Macao and Hong Kong, Metzger praises the high quality of Chinese cuisine served in these regions.
