Ukraine’s Drone Attacks on Russian Ships at Risk, Raises Tensions in the Black Sea

Fedorov provided insight into Ukraine’s drone production, revealing a significant increase in aerial drone manufacturing. He stated that Ukraine’s production has grown by over 100 times in 2023 compared to the previous year. By the end of this year, he expects an increase of around 120 to 140 times.
Ukraine is also exploring the use of artificial intelligence (AI) systems to enhance its drone capabilities. These AI systems aim to locate targets several kilometers away and guide drones towards them, even in the face of electronic warfare measures that disrupt external communications.
The technology for finding targets, just like how the Lancet (a Russian drone) operates, allows us to locate targets under electronic warfare and destroy them, explained Fedorov. While these technologies are still in the testing phase, some drones already incorporate AI to recognize targets, such as people, tanks, or specific vehicles, even in complex environments like forests.
