New Report Reveals Strategies for Preserving Wealth Amid Global Economic Challenges
A new report titled Human Capital Management in a Crisis-Ridden World: Strategies for Preserving and Advancing Wealth Amid Global Economic Challenges is set to be unveiled at the 12th edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) 2023. The report will be introduced during the event held on September 13th and 14th at the Expo Centre Sharjah. This report, developed in collaboration with Trends Research and Advisory, aims to explore how wealth can be preserved and developed against global economic challenges.
The report consists of five sections that cover various aspects related to human capital. It starts by defining human capital and highlighting its significance in today’s economy. It then delves into the major challenges facing human capital in the midst of global economic crises and suggests effective and sustainable ways to address them. Moreover, the report sheds light on international experiences and the achievements of the UAE in human capital management. It concludes with key findings and recommendations.
The launch of this report is part of the IGCF’s Gov. Talks Stage, which will feature ten thought-provoking panel discussions and inspiring talks on various topics such as health awareness, media, family, environment, and innovation. These activities are organized in partnership with Trends Research and Advisory, the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), the Health Education Department at the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Sharjah Press Club, Sharjah Media City (Shams), Family Development Department in Sharjah, Districts and Villages Affairs Department in Sharjah, and the Training Department of the SGMB.
One of the notable sessions will be a talk by renowned TV anchor and presenter Mahmoud Saad titled From Traditional Media to New… A Speech for a Media Journey. Saad will share insights from his extensive professional experience and provide valuable advice on navigating the fast-paced and ever-evolving media sector.
The IGCF will also host discussions on the future of media, particularly digital media, from the perspective of future generations. Graduates of the Ithmaar Media Training Programme for children and youth will share their impressions and thoughts on the present and future of media.
Another significant topic that will be covered is the role of digital media in raising public awareness about health. The Health Media session organized by the Health Education Department of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs aims to enlighten healthcare professionals on utilizing digital media to provide reliable and trusted information and services to the public.
Artificial intelligence (AI) will also take center stage at the IGCF. A session titled The Power of Artificial Intelligence and the Enhancement of Communication in the Digital Era, organized by Sharjah Media City (Shams), will explore the potential of AI in transforming government communication. Abdullah Alsharhan, Director of Creativity and Corporate Identity at Shams, will share his experience with the Create with Shams platform, which employs AI to generate creative and innovative content.
Additionally, the IGCF will address the crucial role of media and education in achieving sustainability. With a panel discussion titled The Role of Media and Education in Sustainability, in collaboration with the UAEU, industry experts will share their insights and best practices to strengthen educational and media institutions’ role in achieving the national vision.
Furthermore, sessions on sustainable communication and community sustainability will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of environmental initiatives and tools to realize sustainability goals.
Lastly, the IGCF will explore the link between government and society by discussing the role of district councils in fostering social cohesion and cultural diversity. This session, organized by the Districts and Villages Affairs Department in Sharjah, aims to develop public services and identify citizens’ needs.
All in all, the upcoming IGCF 2023 is set to be a platform for insightful discussions and inspiring talks on crucial topics related to government communication, media, health, sustainability, and more. The debut of the report Human Capital Management in a Crisis-Ridden World: Strategies for Preserving and Advancing Wealth Amid Global Economic Challenges promises to offer valuable insights on preserving wealth in the face of global economic adversities.
