StanceBeam and BoAt Join Forces to Introduce StanceOS Sports Analytics on Smartwatches

StanceBeam, a sports technology start-up in India, recently partnered with boAt, India’s number one wearables brand, to launch StanceOS – advanced smart sensors and sports motion sensing AI technology in smart watches. This innovation follows the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season and cricket world cup, giving young players access to cricket analytics helpful in identifying the next wave of talented talent.

StanceBeam’s technology will provide boAt smart watch users with deep insight into their cricket performance and procession, including metrics such as their bowling arm speed and batting speed. This innovative technology is beneficial for cricket players and coaches of all levels, providing helpful game insights and tips to improve their game. Currently, StanceOS is available for the newly released boAt lunar connect pro and lunar call pro watches. StanceBeam’s goal is to make sports analytics and fan engagement accessible to everyone by powering the smart watch ecosystem.

Ishwinderpal Singh, Co-founder and COO of StanceBeam, is enthusiastic about the partnership. He believes it will bring technology to the masses and make cutting edge sports analytics easier to find. He is excited about the unique batting hand speed and bowling arm speed algorithm verified for 97% accuracy by the I3D Lab at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Founded in 2017, StanceBeam is one of the first companies in the world to introduce a Smart Sensor chip and analytics system for Cricket. With their sensor algorithms and motion modelling algorithms, they provide users with fast motion analysis and insights to help players improve their game. StanceBeam has since branched out to other sports like badminton, tennis, and skipping. They have also developed sports video analysis and processing based on AI and computer vision and earned awards for their technological innovation such as ‘Elevate100’ and ‘KPMG Game Changers’.
