Qlik Integrates OpenAI Connectors for Generative AI Capabilities

Qlik, the data analytics platform, has introduced new generative artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities via OpenAI connectors. The move will allow Qlik users to more easily work with data, regardless of their data literacy or expertise. The tool’s freeform natural language capabilities will make BI tools more accessible to the 75% of people who are not experts in data analytics. Qlik’s OpenAI Analytics Connector integrates OpenAI’s natural language processing know-how into an organisation’s applications, with third-party data from OpenAI blended with existing data models and natural language used to ask questions of augmented data. The Qlik OpenAI Connector for Application Automation, meanwhile, allows developers to add generative AI and natural language-generated content to sentiment analysis etc. The capability is now available and could prove a potential game-changer in the way organisations approach data analysis.
