OpenAI’s popular chatbot, ChatGPT, is now available as an iOS app for iPhone and iPad users. The app offers all the features of the web version, including comprehensive answers to users’ queries and real-time information access through Bing Search. In addition, the iOS app has an exclusive feature that allows users to ask questions using voice recognition. Users can create an account using their Apple ID, Google account, or email, and ChatGPT warns users that its responses may be inaccurate and that chats may be reviewed by AI trainers. The app is available only in the US, but OpenAI plans to expand it to other countries soon. The free version of ChatGPT on iOS is sufficient for most users, but those who want access to OpenAI’s current language model, GPT-4, can subscribe to ChatGPT Plus for $20 a month.
