New AI Tool for Doctors: Managing Massive Medical Data and Diagnosis Assistance

The Indian government is reportedly planning to launch a ChatGPT-like clinical decision support tool to aid doctors in boosting their productivity and accuracy of diagnosis. Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is overseeing the project, with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and private stakeholders involved. The tool will be developed with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies. Apollo Hospitals will be utilised in the initiative’s initial phase, in addition to other Indian hospitals. As the tool begins aiding healthcare professionals, it will collect data and continuously learn from the immense amount of data it accumulates, improving treatment and diagnosis outcomes and aiding doctors in patient satisfaction. Work on the model has already begun.
