Avalara Introduces Sales Tax Calculator Plugin for ChatGPT

Cloud-based tax compliance automation provider, Avalara, has announced a new integrated plugin for chatbot ChatGPT. This will enable users to ask the platform to calculate and research sales tax rates by location. Avalara utilises OpenAI protocol to build the plugin, making it the first tax compliance software provider to work with the AI platform. ChatGPT users with plus accounts can install the Avalara plugin from the store. Once installed, they can ask for sales tax rates by location and to calculate sales tax on a specific sale by location. The Avalara plugin will eventually be available to all ChatGPT users worldwide.
