Standard Fleet, a provider of fleet management solutions for electric vehicles (EVs), has secured $7m in a seed funding round led by UP2398 and Canvas Ventures. The funds will be used to broaden its team and develop new tools. The company’s cloud-based technology allows it to communicate with EVs to automate, secure and scale electric fleet management for sectors including rental cars, rideshare companies and leasing fleets. It has already secured clients including electric vehicle firms Revel, MisterGreen Electric Lease and EV Access. Standard Fleet’s management app provides customers with access to vehicle telemetry, monitors and requests reimbursement for charging expenses and manages vehicle app permissions.
