Paris-based startup Pigment has raised $88 million in a Series C round of funding led by Iconiq Growth, with participation from existing investors including Meritech, IVP, and FirstMark. The company offers a business planning platform that rivals Microsoft Excel and enterprise software brands Oracle and SAP. Pigment is a flexible and collaborative tool used by finance, sales, and HR teams to collate data, generate reports, and make informed decisions. What differentiates Pigment from Excel is its live, modern software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering. Pigment is able to integrate with other enterprise software products, including Salesforce, and data sources to maintain its data synchronization and feed its data-driven insights. The company has grown its revenue by 600% in 2022 compared to 2021 and has established a client list that includes Klarna, Miro, and Mozilla.
