Instagram Testing 30-Personality AI Chatbot to Join ChatGPT Rivalry

Date:

Instagram, which is owned by Meta, is reportedly developing an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot with 30 different personalities that can provide users with more fun and engaging chat experiences. According to mobile app researcher and developer Alessandro Paluzzi, the chatbots will also be able to answer questions and give advice. Instagram has not commented on the reports. Paluzzi is known for reverse engineering Instagram’s code to predict what features the app may add in the future. Earlier this year, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed that a new product group focused on generative AI was in development, with AI personas created to improve Instagram’s filters and ad formats. Meta published its Large Language Model Meta AI technology to further the study of chatbots.
