Google Integrates AI Technology into Mobile Gmail

Date:

Google is introducing an AI-driven feature to improve search accuracy in Gmail mobile app. Alphabet’s recent blog post reveals that the update rollout for both Google Workspace and personal Google accounts come with new machine-learning models. The update includes a new section called Top Results at the top of the search results to present the most relevant search results. The new AI-powered feature factors in the user’s recent emails to display the best matches. Google aims to satisfy users’ demand for this feature, and all Gmail users on their mobile devices can access it within the next two weeks. However, it is unclear if it will be integrated into the web version of Gmail. Google has been integrating AI into its offerings, as evidenced by the previous AI-focused services and features launched during the company’s I/O developer conference in May.
