Machine-Learning Enhances Wind Project Efficiency and Safety

Date:

A new machine-learning tool has reportedly been launched to help improve the efficiency and reduce risk related to wind projects in the renewables industry. H’alt, the software platform behind the new solution, uses previously gathered data to guide relevant decision-making across a project’s entire lifecycle. This will enable wind professionals to make better-informed decisions and monitor a project’s risks and engagement levels more effectively. The developers claim that the platform has already been embraced by a major turbine manufacturer and that future iterations will include AI technology. H’alt’s developers state that they have adopted a people-focused, tech-based approach with the platform and that it will aid informed decision-making in the challenging and uncertain environments typically found in the wind sector. Commenting on the product’s launch, Rakesh Maharaj, CTO at H’alt, said renewable generation projects needed to be supported by sophisticated decision-making tools.
