European Deeptech VC IQ Capital Closes New $200M Fund as Deeptech and AI Explode

UK-based venture capital firm IQ Capital has closed its fourth venture fund at $200m, taking its assets under management to more than $1bn. The deep tech investor, with offices in Cambridge and London, has launched a second growth fund, with its focus on supporting later-stage funding in its venture portfolio. IQ has invested in more than 100 deep tech start-ups and has experienced multiple exits with companies including Google, Apple and Facebook. The latest fund, which has attracted capital from institutions, funds-of-funds, family offices and British Patient Capital, comes at a time when deep tech investment is accelerating, said Kerry Baldwin, the firm’s co-founder and managing partner.
